The What
- Distinctive Combo-Action & Stability: Rips like a jerkbait, swims like a swimbait. A slow sinking, intentionally designed hybrid joined minnow profile. Designed to bridge the gap between the natural action of a swimbait and the erratic trigger of a jerkbait. At a prime bait sized 4-inches & 24g, you get big bait action in a natural prey sized lure ready to perform in any water condition - from Gulf piers to Texas lakes.

The C-Ripper features a fluid, articulated tail swing, a lip engineered to keep the lure swimming steady, along with a tight aggressive head wobble. This combo gives the lure its dual-ability making it consistently swim true with lifelike swimming action in any body of water. Sturdy BKK Fangs needle point trebles with BKK Lone Diablo singles included for weedy areas or catch and release. The action and flexibility seriously speaks for itself.
Unlike standard jointed lures or swimbaits, the C-Ripper delivers the best of both worlds: a realistic seductive, super tight, 'S-Curve" swim' to draw predators in, and a precision lip design that stabilizes the bait. This provides options and full flexibility in working the lure with slow reels, twitches, fast retrieves, or moderate trolling, at any depth, in calm or rough waters.
The dense, refined ABS plastic body, though light, also casts like a bullet to cover more water per cast. The lures unique engineering and design provides for some of the best action you will see in a hard lure. It tracks and swims consistently no matter the conditions. The design also makes it ideal for fishing in current, from piers, surf, or bridges.

The Lock-In Lip Design:
The lip on the C-Ripper has a different primary purpose compared to most lures - maintain a constant depth rather than dig deeper. When you start your retrieve, the lip "bites" the water, causing the lure to stabilize immediately. If you reel as soon as the lure is in the water or on the surface, it will submerge slightly (about 6 to 12 inches) just to find its swimming track. This isn't "diving" in the traditional sense; it's simply the lure engaging with the water column. A slow sink allows for true searching of the water column at the target depth. This design is what allows the C-Ripper to shine at high or slow speeds, making it extremely easy to fish.
- Controlled Slow Sinking/Level Swim: Weight balanced to fall horizontally, rather than nose-diving. This "dying fish" posture keeps the lures presentation steady when its time to retrieve. The lip design allows for straight-line swimming at the desired depth allowing you to target the entire water column.
- 3D Textured Scale UV Finish: Unlike standard flat paint jobs, the 3D textured UV scales (some colors) scatter light in multiple directions, creating a natural flash that mimics real baitfish scales. This added depth triggers strikes from pressured predators, especially in low-visibility water conditions
- Any Water, Any Retrieve: One lure, two distinct actions. Reel steadily on a slow or fast retrieve to produce a distinctively smooth, tail-kicking "S-curve" swimming motion, or twitch the rod tip to activate erratic, darting escapes that trigger reaction strikes. This lure is balanced to handle aggressive ripping and high-speed burning without blowing out in current heavy salt or your Moms pool.
The Why
The C-Ripper bridges the gap between the fluid action of a large swimbait and the triggering power of a smaller jerkbait. Engineered with a controlled sinking design and a precision-molded lip, it allows you to hunt at any depth or speed without fear of blowing out and without the need for specific gear. It’s the one lure you simply have to have.
The 4-inch 100mm profile is an ideal baitfish size, while the precision jointed two section body provides a dual action ability unlike any other jerkbait on the market. We went with a refined ABS plastic in order to hit the performance marks we were after. We also Include optional BKK Lone Diablo inline hooks in the box for those that prefer and for catch and release.
The C-Ripper truly does it all. 24g of bite-sized hunting hybrid action.
Standard swimbaits or jointed lures often fail in heavy current or surf—they tend to blow out & plane to the surface when the water gets rough or reeled too aggressively. The C-Ripper solves this with its precision-angled lip and strategic weight placement, without being a heavy rock. As a sinking model, the lip is designed with an emphasis for stability and steady depth instead of diving. At only 24g, with thoughtful engineering and days of angler testing, this lure tracks true and stays pinned at your target depth—even during high-speed burns—without fouling or blowing out of the water.
The quality painted scale like UV Reactive finishing greatly enhances the lures visibility and overall look. An internal rattle creates a unique acoustic footprint that draws fish from distance.
How To Fish (Techniques)
On a
Steady Retrieve, the lure fishes itself. No crazy rod pops needed. Simply cast, let it sink to the desired depth, and crank. It'll perform just as well sub-surface. The lures articulated tail action, seductive head wobble, and reflective scales will do the work of attracting fish and getting bit. The tail will kick on either a slow or fast retrieve. The lip design allows for any style retrieves and steady trolling regardless of depth.
Burn & Pause: Burn the lure to really activate the tight, jointed swimming action, then kill the retrieve instantly. The sudden pause allows the body to level out and slowly shimmy sink, often triggering hook-ups from following fish that can't stop their momentum.
Sharp Snaps: Similar to how many jerkbait are fished, use rhythmic, sharp rod twitches with a slow reeling cadence while taking in slack to make the lure dart erratically, mimicking an injured snack. Great for inducing skying blow ups.
Why UV Really Matters
Fish don't see the world the way we do. As water depth increases or clarity drops, standard colors lose their vibrancy and fade into the gray background.
The C-Ripper’s iridescent UV-Reactive Finish is a real difference maker. By absorbing invisible ultraviolet light and re-emitting it as a vibrant glow, these lures maintain high-contrast visibility where other baits disappear. Since the C-Ripper is a slow-sink lure, the UV coating ensures it remains visible even when counted down to darker depths.
With 24g & 4-inches of fantastic design, and bonus BKK inline hooks included in the box, the C-Ripper is ready to hunt.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: What is the best rod setup for the C-Ripper?
A: We recommend a Medium to Medium-Heavy power rod with a fast tip to properly work and feel the lure's action, but the lure will still swim fine on almost any setup.
Q: Do I need heavy line?
A: Although it performs like one, at 24g, it's not your 2-3oz rock of a lure. It's not your super finesse finicky paddle tail either. Any line 15lb to 40lbs will be fine.
Q: What kind of knot should I use?
A: When tied to the split ring, any snug not can be used. If you're removing the split ring, absolutely go with a Loop Knot or Snap. Otherwise you will not get the expected action.
Q: Is the C-Ripper suitable for saltwater?
A: Yes, the C-Ripper is equipped with corrosion-resistant hardware making it effective for both Freshwater & Saltwater.
Q: What is the diving depth of it?
A: The lure has a stabilizing lip design, meaning it doesn't have a fixed diving limit. Its depth is determined by the angler's patience on the sink, while the lip ensures it doesn't deviate much from that depth once you start retrievihg. C-Ripper is designed for depth retention and swim stability, not diving.
Q: What species is the C-Ripper designed for?
A: Its profile and design make it highly effective for a variety of game fish. Freshwater: Bass, Pike, Walleye
Saltwater Snook, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Striped Bass, Bluefish, Bonita
