Our Story

COLMANTS was born on the piers of Florida out of necessity. Like most anglers, we were constantly searching for the perfect tackle—a lure versatile enough to punch through ocean headwinds, hold its ground in rough water, and catch whatever is biting. When we couldn't find it, we decided to engineer it.

What started as a mission to design a jig highly versatile with weight to stay down in rough water (The Hexy Minnow) has evolved into a full-scale lure company. Today, COLMANTS isn't just a tackle brand; we are lure connoisseurs. We conceptualize and engineer the hydrodynamics, weight distribution, and heavy-duty durability of every bait we sell from the ground up.

To help bring our designs to the water, we have built a rigorous pipeline of top-tier manufacturing partners. We dictate everything to our exact specifications—from our signature cupped diving lip in our C-Strike Dynamic Jerkbait, down to the BKK hardware—ensuring our manufacturing partners execute our vision with relentless consistency.

Every single production batch undergoes strict, in-house Quality Assurance performed by our own team. We physically inspect the hardware, verify the finish integrity, and confirm the specs before a single lure is cleared for inventory -ensuring you get a lure that is ready to fish straight out of the package.
