Customers praise these fishing jigs as "incredibly tough" and effective for catching diverse species including cod, bonito, tuna, bluefish, and stripers. One shopper "caught 65 bluefish on 1 lure" with minimal damage. Hooks are described as "crazy strong and sharp" with "amazing action." Some paint chipping near back noted. Fast shipping appreciated.
The DartSting Baitfish Shore Jig, Mackerel 60g, has proven to be a workhorse for catching Cod and Pollock. It's proven itself over and over again. After the first few bites, the paint near the back has chipped away. Not surprisingly, as Cod have sharp teeth. As do the occasional Mackerel that likes to hit the jig on the way down to the bottom. Overall, I highly recommend this jig.
Thanks so much for putting the DartSting through its paces on cod and pollock, and for the honest review! Hearing that the Mackerel 60g keeps producing trip after trip is great to hear.
You're right about the paint. Cod teeth (and those aggressive mackerel on the drop) are hard on any finish, and the tail end takes the most abuse. We've passed your feedback to our production team as we look at making the finish tougher on future batches. Plenty of anglers find a beat-up jig keeps catching just fine, but we want ours to look good longer too. Invaluable feedback. Much appreciated!
I caught my first two albies the first time using this lure. I was able to make consistent long, accurate casts all day. Definitely looking forward to using them again!
Congrata!!!!! We’re thrilled it delivered for you, and we can’t wait to see what you reel in next time. Thanks for sharing your experience and for trusting COLMANTS on the water! Tight lines
Love this lures for my inshore rock cod fishing on the West coast. Good action causing a variety of fish to hit. The skipper on the boat I was fishing on saw how many fish I was landing and had to give him some to use. My orders are usually filled the same day I order them, they are packed with care and there are a variety of colors and styles to choose from. You won't go wrong buying this lures from this company.
Thanks for the support Tony! Always great to hear the joyful success from customers like you. Definitley puts a smile on the teams faces :).
Quick to respond and they went above and beyond when they didn’t have to. Solid high-quality lures, good action, good presentation and excellent casting.
Caught plenty Bonito and Bullet Tuna! It works
The DartSting is a incredible quality jig. The hooks are crazy strong and sharp. Caught two 10lb fresh water stripers on the first day out with them on a lake in Pennsylvania. I highly recommend them!

One of the toughest lures i ever used. The action is amazing I caught around 65 blue fish on 1 lure only has a couple of scratches on it that's amazing .Blue fish tear up many baits but not this one I've bought many because my fishing buddies have to have what I'm catching on so they go in my box and take them .great lures.
