The What

• Swimbait Flow, Jerkbait Trigger?: Because the C-Ripper has a streamlined jointed profile, it doesn't just wiggle or vibrate like a standard jerkbait or crankbait. The tail kicks and the body undulates in a smooth "S-Wave" pattern.

They see the fluid motion and commit because it looks "alive." In a simple cast and reel scenario, the flow of the lure does the work for you.
  When you twitch the rod instead, the Hydro-Lock Lip digs in and forces the bait to dart erratically side-to-side, while the jointed body collapses and flares. This mimics a wounded or panicking baitfish. It triggers a "reaction strike"—a biological reflex where a predator attacks not because it's hungry, but because the movement triggered an aggression instinct. • The Lock-In Lip Design: The lip on the C-Ripper has a different primary purpose compared to most lures - maintain a constant depth rather than dig deeper. When you start your retrieve, the lip "bites" the water, causing the lure to stabilize immediately. If you reel as soon as the lure is in the water or on the surface, it will submerge slightly (about 6 to 12 inches) just to find its swimming track. This isn't "diving" in the traditional sense; it's simply the lure engaging with the water column. A slow sink allows for true searching of the water column at the target depth. How To Fish (Techniques)

On a Steady Retrieve, the lure fishes itself. No crazy rod pops needed. Simply cast, let it sink to the desired depth, and crank. It'll perform just as well sub-surface. The lures articulated tail action, seductive head wobble, and reflective scales will do the work of attracting fish and getting bit. The tail will kick on either a slow or fast retrieve. The lip design allows for any style retrieves and steady trolling regardless of depth.

Burn & Pause: Burn the lure to really activate the tight, jointed swimming action, then kill the retrieve instantly. The sudden pause allows the body to level out and slowly shimmy sink, often triggering hook-ups from following fish that can't stop their momentum.

Sharp Snaps: Similar to how many jerkbait are fished, use rhythmic, sharp rod twitches with a slow reeling cadence while taking in slack to make the lure dart erratically, mimicking an injured snack. Great for inducing skying blow ups.

R: Recomendamos una caña de potencia Media a Media-Pesada con una punta rápida para trabajar y sentir correctamente la acción del señuelo, pero el señuelo seguirá nadando bien con casi cualquier configuración.

R: Aunque funciona como tal, con 24g, no es el señuelo "pesado" de 2-3oz. Tampoco es el señuelo de cola de pala súper delicado. Cualquier línea de 15 a 40 libras estará bien.
