Wow, what a year it has been! It feels like just yesterday we were packing our very first orders, filled with equal parts excitement and anticipation. This month, COLMANTS officially turns one, and we are overwhelmed with gratitude. This milestone wouldn’t be possible without you—the passionate anglers who have trusted us with your gear and shared in our adventure. Our little small business that could is growing, and it's all thanks to you! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

The Reel Deal: Our Castman Casting Minnow Takes Off!

 

When we launched COLMANTS, we did so with a mission: to provide innovative, high-quality lures that perform as good as they look. While we knew our Castman Casting Minnow was our first love, we didn't quit know that others would love them the same yet and we’re thrilled to see it become all of yours, too.

The response has been nothing short of incredible. We’ve seen photos and heard stories of anglers across the country landing everything from aggressive bass and wily walleye to powerful pike and acrobatic trout with Castman. Its versatility, incredible casting distance, and irresistible action have made it a go-to in tackle boxes from coast to coast.

Our first year was about making a splash, and our second year is about riding the wave while always striving for something just a little different. We’ve been listening to your feedback and working pretty hard to bring you better & better iterations of products COLMANTS. Get ready, because here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming soon:

 

• The Next Chapter of the C-Strike Series: The subtle, life-like action of a jerkbait is a deadly technique, and we’re expanding our arsenal. We’re developing several new C-Strike Jerkbaits in a range of sinking speeds and profiles, engineered to trigger more strikes in all waters. Get ready to master the "jerk-pause" with confidence. Be on the lookout early 2026.
  
  

• Evolving a Favorite: New Hexy Minnows: The unique side-to-side darting action of our Hexy Minnow aka Hex Head Jig has been a consistent producer. We’re attempting to take these to a different level. We're in the lab cooking up a unique spin on this old Florida favorite so be in the look out. Dropping around Spring 2026.
  
  

• A CastMan What?!: Of course! We are working on a version of CastMan with a tried but true spin, combined with our fantastic lineup of colors. Action & casting distance are always at the forefront here, and these will be no different. Still baking and testing these, so possibly a Summer 2026 release.
